The Bianco iCON nXt Pro Plus is a versatile electronic pump controller designed for automatic pressure control, pump protection and pressure boosting applications.

Designed and tested in Australia for demanding operating environments, the iCON nXt Pro Plus combines automatic pump control with adjustable pressure settings, built-in protection functions and Modbus RS485 communication for applications requiring greater control and integration.

With a 2.2 kW capacity, 16 A maximum current and 10 bar maximum pressure, the Pro Plus is suitable for a wide range of domestic, irrigation, water transfer and pressure boosting applications.

Three operating modes

The iCON nXt Pro Plus provides three operating modes to suit different pump and pressure system configurations.

Mode 1 – Adjustable cut-in pressure
Set the required start pressure to suit the application. The controller stops the pump when water flow drops.

Mode 2 – Adjustable cut-in and cut-out pressure
Both start and stop pressures can be configured. Pump shutdown is governed by pressure and this mode requires a pressure tank.

Mode 3 – Duty/Assist dual-pump pressure boosting
Designed for duty/assist dual-pump pressure boosting applications. A pressure tank is required.

Digital pressure display
Provides a real-time indication of system pressure for easy monitoring and adjustment.

Adjustable pressure settings
Start and stop pressures can be configured to suit the selected operating mode and application.

Dry-run protection
Detects a lack of water and stops the pump to help protect it from damage. The automatic restart function checks for water availability every 24 hours.

Anti-cycle protection
Helps prevent excessive pump cycling during operation.

Anti-seize function
If the pump has not operated for 24 hours, the controller can activate the pump to help reduce the risk of the pump seizing during periods of inactivity.

Automatic restart after power failure
The controller automatically restarts the pump following a power interruption.

Overload protection
Built-in overload protection helps protect the pump and controller from excessive electrical load.

Over-pressure protection
The controller stops the pump when the system reaches the maximum 10 bar (145 psi) pressure.

Modbus RS485 communication
Provides communication capability for applications requiring integration with compatible control or monitoring systems.

IP65 protection
The IP65-rated enclosure provides protection suitable for demanding installation environments.

Drinking-water compatible
The controller complies with AS/NZS 4020 requirements for products in contact with drinking water.

Installation and accessories

The iCON nXt Pro Plus is supplied for hardwired pump and power connections. A 15 A cable and 1¼" union kit are available separately where required.

The controller is intended for pumps supplying clean, non-volatile liquids without fibres or solids. Always ensure the controller is correctly sized for the pump and application.
