Bianco BLC Series Stainless Steel Multistage Centrifugal Pumps
The Bianco BLC Series is a range of corrosion-resistant stainless steel multistage centrifugal pumps designed for reliable water transfer, irrigation, pressure boosting and commercial water supply applications.
With 304 stainless steel pump construction, multistage hydraulic design and continuous-rated TEFC motors, the BLC Series provides a versatile range of flow and pressure options from compact single-phase pumps through to high-flow three-phase models.
The range includes pumps delivering up to 520 L/min, with models available for applications requiring anything from approximately 20 m to 30 m of maximum head.
The BLC Series is particularly well suited to irrigation, agriculture, horticulture, commercial water transfer, tank filling and pressure boosting, where stainless steel construction and reliable continuous operation are important.

Choose the Right BLC Series Pump
The BLC Series covers a broad range of irrigation, water-transfer and pressure applications. When selecting a pump, maximum flow and maximum head should not be considered in isolation. A centrifugal pump’s actual operating performance depends on the required flow rate and total dynamic head of the system.
For irrigation and water-transfer applications, the pump should be selected according to the required duty point, taking into account:

Single-Phase Power Cable
Single-phase models are supplied with a 1.2 m, 10 A-rated H05 flex cable with AS/NZ 3112 Type 1 three-pin male power plug.
Understanding Maximum Flow and Head
The maximum flow and maximum head figures shown above represent the operating limits of each pump and occur at different points on the pump’s performance curve.
For example, a pump listed with a maximum flow of 160 L/min and maximum head of 30 m will not deliver 160 L/min at 30 m head.
The correct pump should therefore be selected using the manufacturer’s performance curve and the required system duty point. This is particularly important for irrigation systems, where pipework, filters, valves, elevation and sprinkler requirements can significantly affect the pump duty.
